SUFFERING BY COMPARISON

Yep. The fact that Robert Taft is a dusty old memory says it all about today's Republicans.

SHIAS RAMPAGE IN IRAQ: IDIOTS RAMPAGE ON THE LEFT

I am sick of the "brainless twits" garbage myself.

It was you idiots' idea to drive drunk. Our idea was to not. Now that you've smashed headfirst into a tree, we are supposedly idiots for not having a good plan.

Except you're still the idiot who drove headfirst into a tree.

BRITS YAWN AS IRAN DECLARES WAR

oops-last time "Iran" held American hostages.

Aren't you a little premature in condemning Britain? Last time Iraq held American hostages* Reagan and friends shipped over a thousand TOW missiles to Iran (Feb. 86), which money received was used to fund the Contras. Yeah, I know it was never an "arms for hostages" deal, yet the hostages ended up released anyway!

So perhaps Britain is working out some deal along those lines right now and praying for that same happy ending by coincidence.

*Hezbollah was the actual jailer.

ASTONISHING CYNICISM SHOWN BY THE DEMOCRATS

Why would you possibly criticize MYDD for characterizing the war as Republican? That's exactly how the White House wanted it to be seen!

How do you interpret these comments by Rove back in 2005 attempting to establish a theme for the 2006 elections:

"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."

SENATE SUGGESTS TELLING THE JIHADIS WHEN WE'RE LEAVING

Just examine the premises of your analysis.

You're scheming a vote whipping strategy to keep a war going! Sorry, dude, but when a war becomes the domain of a political faction, it's over.

Bush failed as a war president. He forsook national unity and consciously chose to make it a Republican war (remember Rove's "liberals want to give Osama psychotherapy" speech?).

Wrong war, wrong time, wrong president.

COULTER FATIGUE

Moran-I would assume that anyone who applauded Moore's comments agreed with him, yes. I didn't applaud.

If, as you claim, Ann Coulter does not represent conservative thought, why was she applauded by the audience?

And make a prediction on your blog right now:

Will Coulter speak at the 2008 CPAC?

She doesn't represent conservative thought? Was she booed? She certainly represents the folks at CPAC!

How much do you want to bet that she's not speaking at CPAC again next year?

And what does the C stand for?

SUPPORT THE TROOPS: OPPOSE THE BIDEN RESOLUTION

Actually a single national ratings point represents 1%, or 1,114,000 households for the 2006-07 season, so a 24 share is 24 million households, i.e. Rush Limbaugh's audience plus 4-6 million people with nothing better to do.

Yeah right. And what percentage of people watched the speech?
